From Bold Ideas to Global Impact: How Collaborative Philanthropy Fuels Change

Pure Earth President Drew McCartor will join Raj Kumar, President and Editor-in-Chief of Devex, Dr. Anu Kumar from Ipas, Serah Malaba from Tiko, Lisha McCormick from Last Mile Health, and Tanvi Monga and Anna Verghese from The Audacious Project for a conversation on how philanthropy can accelerate bold ideas into long-term systems change.
About the Event
The Audacious Project, an initiative of TED, brings together social innovators and philanthropists to fund bold, scalable solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. Over the past eight years, the Audacious donor community has committed $4.6 billion in support of 70 projects, which have leveraged an additional $3 billion from other funders — bringing total funding to $7.6 billion. In 2025, the initiative reached a new milestone, with more than 35 donors committing $1.03 billion to support over a dozen projects focused on health, climate, education, and economic opportunity.
Building on this momentum, this virtual event hosted by Devex, in partnership with The Audacious Project, will bring together leaders from the latest Audacious grantee cohort. Through discussion, storytelling, and curated highlights, the event will showcase the grantees’ groundbreaking work, elevate their voices on a global stage, and demonstrate how catalytic philanthropy, cross-sector collaboration, and visionary leadership can expand the reach and impact of transformative solutions.
