Projects

Blacksmith will collect and synthesize existing national and regional databases and inventories of POPs contaminated sites to create a master list of known sites. This list, together with Blacksmith’s existing inventory developed under the Toxic Sites Identification Program, will help guide and prioritize the selection of sites for Rapid Environmental Assessment. We will focus on nine countries in the Former Soviet Union as part of this project.
